Mythic Golf

I was the Lead 3D artist for a stylized fantasy-themed golf game pitch by Liquid Bit Studios. I was responsible for world building, modeling and level design. It was a lot of fun to work in an small team with a big dream of creating a deck-engine golf game where players compete online, building decks that provide ability buffs and attacks against one another. Its a really fun game that blends strategy and dexterity. The game is currently seeking funding to make it a reality.

The landscape was first sculpted in Unreal, then built upon and refined in Blender. We had to do it this way to achieve the style we were after (i.e. sharp, defined regions, overhangs, and geometry that is free of planar-adjacent topology which can cause physics errors for balls rolling across surfaces.)

I worked with Anailis Dorta (Art Director) to design, assemble, and set dress each environment.
The Phoenix, Tree Stump, Tentacle Monster, and Windmill models were made by the wonderful Tim Haag.
All models were rigged by Sirrena Infinity Holmes and Animated by Dylan Pollard.
And Michele De Donno provided the VFX.
